The After Place
Still reading my books on my topics.
The latest one was Journey of Souls : Case Studies of Life Between Lives by Dr. Michael Newton.
Again with the regression hypnosis thing, this time concentrating on the in between time in the after place instead of actual past lives. Well sequenced flow of the whole journey from duck out to rebirth and all the points in between correlated across hundreds of data inputs with similar experiences. He shares case studies, dictations of sessions with individual patients and what they saw/experienced under hypnosis.
Curiously it resonated with me in an interesting way that was a little creepy…I had this whole fantasy life when I was little, mixed with my Sailor Moon lore, about being some sort of guardian of the universe…and that my current life was just taking a turn on earth to gain empathy with the earthlings I watched over (not part of Sailor Moon lore). My actual job as a spirit though was to guide people…sometimes letting bad things happen to them because the whole point was the lesson in coping or growing from experiences (also not from Sailor Moon Lore). The “other place” was my home…and my “vacations” were earth.
This “fantasy’ was one I have had for a good 20 years and one I kind of play with sometimes even now. So to read this book…and have it basically lay out that same concept in detail…and that a lot of the details were part of my same “fantasies” as a child were…
Alarming?
And also very cool…like maaayyybbbee they weren’t fantasies, but memories?
Interesting interesting book though. Here are some of the topics it covered :
- Death and Departure – The duck out and what happens just after
- Gateway to the Spirit World – The journey home
- Homecoming – Party time with your peeps when you get there
- The Displaced Soul – Ghosts, Suicides, “Evil” people (there’s no hell, you just get quarantined for deep dives about what went wrong and reconditioned before getting put with everyone else.)
- Orientation – Debrief everyone has with your guides to see how you did in your past life
- Transition – Heading back to your “living space” with your soul group
- Placement – How soul groups get formed
- Our Guides – Your existence long mentors and their role
- The Beginner Soul – Baby souls. Have only reincarnated a few times in the grand scheme. Allegedly earth is full of these because of overpopulation being a thing and there needing to be a ton of souls to fill the people here. Also explains why Trum.p is president. (lol not really this book was written in 1994…but it does mention that immature souls tend to be super judgmental and insecure because they are not used to the harshness of earth.)
- The Intermediate Soul – Have been around the block. More in the experiment phase to try different experiences and learn the full scope of the human experience.
- The Advanced Soul – Don’t reincarnate as much. They truly have had hundreds if not thousands of reincarnations….or are Master Teachers sent down to do specific things…like Jesus and nem.
- Life Selection – Talking about how you can choose different experiences to live to learn different lessons and get “experience points” (my own term)
- Choosing a New Body – You can truly design yourself down to the smallest of details. You get package options to choose from based on the life selection you do. (Advanced souls plan all that out and present you with these).
- Preparation for Embarkation – You can preview what your life will be…like almost tv style (though you’ll forget all this once you come down). You also get your group together for the people you’ll interact with and come up with clues you’ll use to recognize each other once you get down here. Once it’s all decided, you get final reviews from the council who give you tips and you head out.
- Rebirth – Easing on down the road…to earth…the process of birth…abortions/miscarriages (soul heading in volunteers to have a short visit…mom’s soul also planned both of these experiences for a specific lesson in how these events are coped with).
All very interesting stuff! Maybe it also resonates for me because everything is so ordered…there’s a reason for it all.
Also interesting that again you truly are here for a reason, it may not be a grand scheme that will impact everyone else, but it IS for YOU to learn how to be your best self. All lifetimes are about that…enlightenment…and the more you are open to learning, adjusting, and testing yourself, the faster you move up the chain.
I also love how just because you’re in the after place, doesn’t mean you don’t have an ego…or that you’re perfect and don’t make mistakes. Your concerns might be different, but your personality…your core is always the same. If you’re snarky here, you’re snarky there. If you are a prankster here, you’ll be the same there. You will still have insecurities and fears…but it’s all very much around how YOU perceive things. The more enlightened (advanced) you are, the more you realize most stuff you worry about doesn’t matter…and that in the end it’s all about love and acceptance. That’s it.
