Red Table Talks

Just watched these with my mom and had a really good conversation. It is interesting as you get older to see your parents are real people rather than “Mom” and “Dad.”

Hope I’m lucky enough to have conversations like this with her and my future daughter as well.

Not at all what I expected. All three are so composed, mature and well spoken, and Willow, surprisingly, seems so grounded and unaffected by her fame. She showed a lot of courage bringing her mom and grandmother back to the table to bare her soul.

I really like the Smith family. Jada posts inspiring messages on her Facebook all the time..ones that make you think “yeah I need to do better.”

      I wish she’d write a book or something…

      I also like little Willow.

Still think it’s a little creepy how much their kids look like them…I know they’re supposed to but…just strange to see people you grew up watching with kids that old when you mostly see them frozen in time at like 18 and 19 because of TV syndication…

I was also going to remark on how much Willow looks like her dad, but I think I did that already elsewhere here. She is his spitting image. Even the ears are identical.
