Post College Reflections
Well college is over. I’m back in the ‘bany until I can find a job.
The new and especially urgent goal after graduating is to find a job and get away from my parents.
Lawd have mercy…they crazy. CRAZY!
I’m a 22 year old college graduate but…
– I have a bed time.
– I have a curfew
– I have to be chaperoned by my mother when I’m with my boyfriend
– I am not permitted to stay at a hotel by myself.
And that ain’t even everything! Clearly something MUST be done…
So far, two job decisions are pending. One is as an Account Executive for an advertising firm and the other is for an Interactive Adverting Coordinator for a short term loan company. The first I haven’t heard from in weeks despite attempts to contact them, the latter I just had an interview for yesterday.
All of you out there in cyberspace, especially if you live in the Atlanta area or have any Atlanta contacts, you know you are welcome to send job ops my way. I will readily accept them.
