So…
I went to get my annual violation today. It’s was going well until I mentioned to the doc about how I’m trying to gain weight and how it’s been a bit difficult. She recommended that we check out my thyroid to make sure everything is working properly.
So she sends in this nurse to take my blood right?
THIS chick…
Thankfully she used the butterfly needle as I am pint sized…
But THIS chick…
Shoved the ENTIRE NEEDLE into my arm! I was like, THE VAIN IS RIGHT THERE! IT’S POKING OUT OF MY SKIN! THAT IS NOT NECESSARY!!!
I swear she was searching for blood somewhere near the BACK OF MY ELBOW!
Moving it all around and isht…
And THEN had the nerve enough to ask if people ever had trouble finding my veins!
NO HO! Just you! If you do things CORRECTLY, my veins poke out like a pe-nus at a strip club!
AND she kept asking if I want to go to the lab or have someone else do it!
I was SO done.
I told her not to worry about it, that the test was just for curiosity’s sake anyway, and high tailed it out of there.
Having metal objects shoved up my nether regions was enough torture!!!
Thing still smarts too. ..
In other news…
I watched Purple Rain for the first time yesterday. I meant to save it for today, but got bored.
Prince is a FANTASTIC actor.

Interesting movie though. I’d only seen bits and pieces before when it came on VH1 every other week. I bet the Chappelle skit will be much funnier now….
