Weekend Update
Lazy Wins
Had all kinds of plans this weekend. Was going to a concert featuring The Tim.e, Ros.e Royce, and Mid.night Starr. Had a front row seat. Stayed home and took a nap instead. Also meant to cut my grass…but nap. Meant to clean my house…..naps. Meant to run some beauty related errands….naps.
I’m tired, man. Can I live?
The Oly.mics
Somehow managed to watch NONE of the Olym.pics. They’re over already?! I always feel like they’re longer than they are…but they’re only two weeks I guess. I don’t even recall what I do after work that makes me not watch TV….haven’t watched live TV in MONTHS. Not sure why I even pay for it…
Burn Out
Definitely have burned out work wise. Wrapping up this project and they’ve given me 2 more to run and complete before 1 October. I am completely exhausted and really REALLY don’t want any more stress. I don’t want to be responsible for ANYTHING anymore I’m tired…and this other commercial client wants a site too…
Currently sitting at home in my robe waiting for a developer to get to finish work on some bugs so I can submit this change request to deploy to the next environment. I don’t even care that there’s a pilot starting tomorrow and that these pretty hefty fixes may not be there in time.
I really am mentally exhausted and tired of being one of the few that stresses over wanting things to be done right. 8 months of this, I have zero fluffs left.
I Don’t Want to be Right
Also here’s this. The latest thing to fling me back down the rabbit hole. Don’t ask me who’s playing guitar. I reject that it’s less than a year old and that there’s 8 other tracks of perfection on this EP with that person playing guitar and their mentee vocals singing over it.
I’m crying at the perfection of it.
I’m probably never going to get over this. Complete perfect jerk continues to win from the beyond with hidden gems such as these.
