It’s the weekend…
Or the end of it anyway.
I took some jeans to get altered today, but unfortunately, the place was closed. Instead, I thought I’d go look around the Dulles Town Center to see if I could find a dress for the Black people ball this coming weekend.
As usual, didn’t find anything, BUT I am becoming increasingly concerned at the amount of Black male/white female couples.
I promise you, I’m not exaggerating. I saw 8 couples of this combination and absolutely no Black couples AT ALL!
I mean these dudes ranged from Ray Ray to Devon (the professional Black man)…all of them had white women on their arms.
AND THEIR WOMEN WEREN’T EVEN CUTE!
I was so disappointed.
Is that really the trend up here in DC suburbia? What happened to the CHOCOLATE city? Is that a thing of the past?!?!

I’d like to take this time to lift up the following product:
I altered two dresses today in about 10 minutes with this $15 product! I’d used my mother’s a few years ago to do a skirt, and the stitches are still strong and everything!
