Nice Weekend
Not too much to say today.
I had a lovely weekend with my parents. We got to experience some new restaurants as well as new (to us) malls in the Atlanta area. Have to give my little review of some things:
Redfish Creole Bistro
Now when it comes to Creole food I have to say my family is very critical. Being from Louisiana in the span from Baton Rouge to New Orleans, we know and can cook REAL Creole food. The thing about this restaurant is that they were confused about the meaning of spicy. Spicy means it has a lot of flavor and has a tingle when you eat it, not that it’s “hot.” I literally couldn’t taste the difference between my order of jambalaya and my mother’s order of shrimp creole because they HAD no taste. They were both just “hot”.
By the way….watching flavor of love….two things…1, I really hate to see people be humiliated (Krazy! And her non-singing ass-phalt) 2, even though I like New York, I hope Deelishis wins. I think New York represents the Alpha female side of every female…I mean really, it’s like every female has a choice, she can take the high road and do one thing, or do the down and dirty thing. New York ALWAYS does the down and dirty thing…
I digress…
Cumberland Mall
I am so impressed with what Cumberland is turning into. With the new renovations, restaurants, and stores, I’m glad that it’s finally somewhere I find clothes that fit somewhat. I’m also excited that the style of clothes is becoming more conservative. I wonder how long that will last though.
Perimeter Mall
Once again clothes that fit and that are conservative! Lovely. Actually let me just share some of these…they were such exciting finds…
I’m discovering that I look better in high waisted pants/skirts. Tip for the petite girls who require booty and breasts plans for curves!
Once again a longer skirt…
The thing I like most about that jacket is that it’s so versatile! Those are woolish gaucho capri’s btw, the camera didn’t quite capture the essence of the ensemble…
I REALLY like that top. I think it wraps around and ties in the back. I also think it’s supposed to show more stomach, but I don’t know if I would have an occasion to wear it in such a way. (I’m so modest…*blush)
Yet another dress I have no occasion to wear….I really like it though!
