Hair Deets

First, guise, this took 12 hours.

12 HOURS!

And it was also $755 total including the hair, training video, and installation…and the installation was by someone who cut me a deal. She should have DEF charged more than what she did… (The official salon in LA charges $1400 for everything)

SO THIS IS ANĀ INVESTMENT IN MORE WAYS THAN ONE!

But…loooooook!

To be detailed, we only used 1 pack of the braiding hair from the official kit and 2 of the coily hair type (The kit comes with 2 packs of braiding hair and 3 of the coily type.) She said this was because my hair is already thick and she just needed to add to it for length. We also only used the 20 inch length of the braiding hair since I’m short. It comes down to about bra strap length.

Dr. Kari recommends starting the loc a bit further out from the scalp, but my hair grows REALLY FAST so we started right next to it to maximize the time I could keep them in.

I really love them though! Yay!

Bonus ones of me trying to be alluring…

You’ll have to point to point out which one…I have random spellings sometimes…

        $755

Oh well, so much for my dry/wry humour. (I’d never point out a typo, unless perhaps it would be hazardous to your health, like the time you wrote karma sutra instead of kama sutra. I have a hard enough time managing my own gaffes.)

Where doesn’t getting someone’s sense of humour fit into your pillars?

Oh that’s unfortunately correct. $465 for the hair, $40 for the instructional video, $250 for installation….and I got out on the cheap side!

I find that people who are pillar worthy have a really great sense of humor because they can laugh at themselves and don’t take offense to much! :)
