I am alive!
I should have never said NOTHIN about working life balance being nice!
Got drafted to write for two proposals, code 2 “quick” prototypes, write an implementation plan for 5 key areas of a 100 million+ contract, and write a Stakeholder analysis plan for 100+ applications in a enterprise software portfolio.
And this is on top of being over scheduled 80 hours for June on normal delivery work!
I did get that 80 down to 30 through delegation, but it’s clear I need to hire more people because….I’ve averaged about 4 hours of sleep a day for the last week or so.
Maybe it’s a psychic connection to my sister…work is my needy child…
But yeah I’m alive.
