Scammed
I think i was a victim of a paypal scam today.
I always check my bulk email every once in a while on outlook. As I was scanning through, I saw an email from “paypal” saying that there was unauthorized access to my account and that I need to verify. I went ahead and clicked on it to see how the verification worked, and it took me to a page that looked like paypal and smelled like paypal, but it wanted me to enter my credit card information. That’s when I really got suspicious.
I googled the subject of the email and found this website.
Unfortunately though, I’d already put in my login information so the scammers have that. I changed the password a few seconds afterward, but I don’t know if it’s too late. I guess I’ll have to monitor credit card purchases and see.

and just for good measure, I went back, signed in with my email address and had “sophisticated scam you have here” as my password. Sure enough, it put me through to enter my credit card information.
Reported them to the FTC too…
