A little weird how she’s playing Chastain…it’s a small venue for someone of her fame, especially given the large gay population in Atlanta (I mean whatever, I’m just saying)…
But yeah…I’M GOING TO SEE MISS JACKSON!!!!
The backstory :
I’ve been tracking news since she announced she’s going on tour again. Pretty much all kinds of stalking and google alerts. Funnily enough, my neighbor posted about it before the alerts came through…announcing that the tour dates were set and presale started today at 10AM in the time zone of the venue.
Amex presale…
I was like “I have an Amex…”
But also something told me to check out her site to see how that worked. Turns out those pre-sales are only for specific Amex cards…and the one I have doesn’t apply.
Luckily, you can get a pre-sale code if you buy something from her site.
I did so and was READY.
Countdown to 10 AM…
Logged in with my ticketmaster app…and it said tickets weren’t available.
I was like no. NO!!!! I REFUSE!!!
And went to the livena.tion site.
Put in my code….and got 2 tickets!
I was shooting for the box seats, but was afraid about the limited window of time I had to get tickets at all.
Went ahead and purchased.
The tickets weren’t that bad. Center section, and not TOO far back.
I was satisfied.
Kind of.
So then just for funsies, I was like “well…let me see if I can get better seats…”
Put in the code again…first shot…more on the same row.
Second shot…BOX SEATS.
MOTHER FLUFFIN RIGHT I WANT THOSE!
Purchased!!!!
So now I have 4 tickets!
Stub hub doesn’t have the event posted yet so I’ll wait. I also might hold them for my cousin and his fiancee. They were looking at getting tickets in New Orleans…but I think it might be more fun for them to see her in Atlanta…(they’re gay…just sayin).
But yeah, they’re getting the further back ones, lol…
But yay! I’m so excited for fall now! Finally something to look forward to!
The levels of excitement I have right now are….THE MOST!
I haven’t been this excited about anything in years…..I DESERVE THIS!!!!!
