Welp

Hate and fear fueled one side and terrified the other. It’s all rhetoric still. Day to day will not change. Congress is red, but a lot of those reds are moderates. Trum.p is much more moderate than he campaigned under. Changes yes, but the country will still be run by people who drive down the highway with their blinker on for 5 miles just like it was before.

All the “but I thought” circle jerk essays can go somewhere. Welcome to the reality of non critical thinkers and ignorant people who walk beside you every day, and honestly that goes for all sides.

People should stop looking for others to fix their problems. That answer or assistance will never be found in government. Be nice to the people around you. Being kind can impact people daily. Change happens in the day to day work and examples you set every day. Once that gets to be a critical mass, then it’ll hit the people who run for govie positions. And so on and so forth.

I really like this song! Can you hear the guitar influences?

    Hendrix’s Voodoo Child
Led Zeppelin’s Nobody’s Fault But Mine

He’s a big fan of both! Just listened to a cover he did of Whole Lotta Love earlier this week!

I didn’t know he was a fan of Zeppelin. He made an unflattering remark about Jimmy Page a few years ago and Jimmy Page was Zeppelin’s backbone. Whole Lotta Love is in my top 10 all time favourite songs, and the song’s riff is by far my favourite riff ever. If I were king, I’d outlaw covers of it! Just a minutes while I go listen to Prince’s cover.

Yikes. Like I said, a song that should never be covered.

Wait which one did you listen to? He does to run it faster than the original.

Try this. Prince original, but he is channeling something from somewhere. It’s exhilarating and nuts!

The most unusual cover of Whole Lotta Love ever . . . That was inspiring, and particularly moving when he dropped from falsetto into his natural vocal register. He has quite the array of guitar pedals in the video. Does he normally perform with such a large pedal board?

Hah not a cover, but a song he pulled out of his vault to do in 2009…originally from 1985.

Here’s his pedal board yes pretty big! Saw one with my own eyes!

        P's pedal board
