Hair Experiment Continues
So I have my hair in Senegalese Twists right now. Never took a picture, but they have been in for the last month or so. I might get around to pics…it’s a mix of black and burgundy that leans a tad too burgundy than I’d like, but I’m used to them now.
I actually learned how to do the twist for real last time I was in the shop, so I re-did my own edges….happy my hair is growing fast with these, but geez they got side eye worthy fast…

I have been really curious about faux locks, but was not to keen on the shiny rod looks that people have. They look sort of hard uncomfortable, and large…
Hers though? Yeah I could rock those…
Looked them up…they’re apparently called Faux Goddess Locs and it’s a proprietary technique by Dr. Kari William.s.
The most important aspect of this though is that IT LASTS FOR 3 MONTHS.

I can’t find anyone in Atlanta that installs them using her technique though…which is crazy since Atlanta is hair extension USA, but the technique itself has only been publicized for about 6 weeks now. I bit the bullet and purchased the starter kit with an extra burgundy bunch to twist in. I also got the training video to learn. It looks mostly like how you’d do a normal faux loc with the main difference being that the pricey version uses human hair and the hair is layered as well. I have Headi to try the technique on while I wait for the hair to come in…will work on that over the next few days.
