Gimmie a Head With Hair
Obviously searching for something…and obvious reasons why the #carefreeblackgirl or #altblackgirl looks resonate with me so much. I truly feel they look like how I feel on the inside…and I admire that they can just be out like that.
I paused so long on these ones lately. I REALLY love them…
(We’re pretty liberal at my company, but not THAT liberal.)
I still want to incorporate that kind of color in my hair. I don’t believe in bleaching and dying it though (damage!)…and weave takes too long and costs too much to only keep for a few days.
Also I know the second one is a wig. That’s almost too temporary…like I don’t go anywhere but work and home so it kind of defeats the purpose to buy a whole wig, style it, and wear it the one or two times a week I run errands.
I thought maybe getting this color twisted into my next braid style. Like mixing black and this together…it’s obvious there’s blue, but it doesn’t overpower the black…
Mine would be legit 30/70 split blue ombre to black per twist….and MAYBE having a few single braids that look like that…again because work and I’m not sure I like how it is in the picture…
Or maybe just generally 30/70 all blue to black split all over with a all FEW straight blue mixed in.
OR and I don’t know if this is possible, but having the flipped version of that ombre color combination…and…

If I parted my hair on the left side, it would look all black. But if you parted on the right side, the roots would be blue and fade to black. That way I get my bold look that I can turn on and off depending on work or me mode!
Not 100% sure yet…I only know next cut at the braids will have color for sure!
Now I’m trying to figure out when that will be. I kept taking my hair vitamins while I have my current box braids and it’s growing too fast to stay neat. I’mma try to make it to Thanksgiving, but it might be rough….ha maybe I can get my sisters and mom to help me take them out. Everyone gets a section!
