In LOVE!
So I’ve been cruising around to see what I’m going to try on my hair in the world of transitioning.
I’m trying these twistout thangs now, but it’s much easier to cornrow, flat twist, and bantu knot someone else’s hair rather than your own so….yeeeaah…too much work for now.
I thought about getting more braids, but it was a hassle…and I’m pretty positive it thinned my hair out.
SOOO we’re going to return to hair weave!
I came across the following style:
And actually thought it was quite cute! I could pull it back in a headband for work and it would be the stuff!
Only thing is…it can’t be washed…and you can only wear it for six weeks.
I looked around for similar yet more controlled looking hairstyles and came across this:

Funny thing is GAM’s natural hair has this same curl pattern. He’s loc-ing his though…it’s interesting…for some reason most of the curls are resisting. They’re like “I am beautiful! Let me be fweee!)

I could DEFINITELY do this style with my own hair…AND I even have the tools to do it… but I have neither the time nor the patience to put in the rods and everything only to have the thing fall flat like two days later…
So…yes. Sometime this week, expect to see a brand new me!
LOL from super long Senegalese twists to short hair…my co-workers will be like… o_O
