A Day Long Affair
I come to you from this hair salon where I’ve been since 1PM.
(It’s 7:02) now.
Still progressing through this Keratin Complex treatment.

She’s 1/4 way through the first pass through. Another client came (she thought she’d be done by now) so she went to take car of her for a minute.
I never know how much hair I have until I do something like this.
I’ve never had this professionally done and am mostly weary of salons…especially if they’re not used to dealing with natural hair.
I feel like she’s had experience with natural hair, but she isn’t necessarily empathetic…
Like when detangling, she didn’t start at the ends and work back.
I was SWEATING!
And feel like if i have rough ends, it’s because of all the jecking with the brush and comb on my dry hair.

It’s funny, like I said, it’s the first pass through with the flat iron…and my hair is already trying to revert…
We’ll see how this turns out…

My mom met me here because she’s in Atlanta visiting a friend.
She decided to get the treatment at the last minute too.
She’s been done for 2 hours now…and hers was 300 bucks.
Her hair doesn’t even touch her shoulders.
