It’s That Time of Year
I waited until today to FOR REAL for real get into the CHRISTMAS spirit.
(It’s my blog dangit! I’m not being PC. THIS IS CHRISTMAS!) *Kicks Scrooge into a pit
It really kicked in when I heard This Christmas on the radio and started involuntary tearing up…the first song of the season that I’ve heard.
I immediately stopped at the nearest dollar tree and got 30 odd bucks worth of dollar things…
And got 6 of these from the walmart nearby $2.48 for the 20 inch ones and like $4 for the slightly bigger one (for my front door)
I also picked up this stuff to make a “This House Believes in Santa” sign.

I was going to glue it to the board and put the santa message on the inside, but the board was too big so I did this instead
Can I just say, stencils are super hard to work with? I quickly gave up on trying to be neat…
But yeah!
Besides the sign, everything else is going up on the house next weekend!
I’m going to get some new cushions for my wicker on the front…because I like this and this will be the scheme for Christmas this year.
And I also want big ornaments like this to do this with.
