About Me
Hello all! My name is KaNisa and I am a (early) 30 something finding my way through this thing we call life. (Ack I’m 30!?!?!?!)
I graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology in the summer of 2007, and I now work as an IT Strategy Consultant for a top consulting firm in their Atlanta satellite office. My specialty is Cognitive Ergonomics…or in layman’s terms, I design experiences that passively guide end users through web based artifacts. I lead a team of analysts doing this type of work for the federal government and commercial clients in the Southeast.
Computers are my lyfe, quite literally. Been on them since I was four. Avid gamer and front-end programmer for funsies. Picked up console gaming after winning a 360 at a NSBE competition. Still a bit of a computer game snob though…
Sorority girl as a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. since November of 2005. Veni, Vidi, Vici #3 Carpe Diem. All about studying and helping to alleviate problems concerning girls and women…with a technical twist especially.
Natural hair. Champion of Black girls with long hair and proving naturalistas can grow their hair quite long.
Welcome to my humble web home! I hope you take part in my journey through adulthood and all the adventures that come with it!
