80’s Rewind
I’ve been watching a lot of 80/early 90’s sitcoms on in2tv and am discovering some pretty good stuff. Since I was maybe 4 or 5 when these shows were new, I have only heard tell of most of them rather than seeing them first hand. In theory most of them should be on Nick at Nite or something, but they’re not. Here’s what I’m checking out:
Growing Pains
I’m pretty caught up on Growing Pains since it came on the Disney Channel for a minute, but I’m looking at this show in a new light now since I get more of the jokes. There was a lot of sexual stuff on there! And more profanity than I remember! I was like, WOW! This was on primetime family TV?!
Doogie Howser MD
I don’t think I ever watched this until now. I remember the theme song but besides that…I’m sure any and all of the content of this show would have flown over my 4 year old head. Once again…80’s TV…a lot more risqué than I thought!

The Mary Tyler Moore Show – Used to catch this on Nick at Nite back in the day. I thought it was boring though. I also thought Golden Girls was boring then though so it could be more interesting now.
Maude – I don’t even remember this being on TV (LOL) I always see it being made fun of though…
Welcome Back Kotter – The fam was playing Scene It the other day and everyone stared at my mother when she got a question about this show right…LOL
